Hi — I'm Sean, and The Pumpkin Block is truly a family affair.

We're a proud Oakville family with a passion for the fall season — though let's be honest, who really wants to let go of summer? But once those first crisp days arrive, we believe your home deserves to look its absolute best. After years of admiring stunning fall porches and struggling to find the time to create one ourselves, we decided to bring that experience directly to our neighbours — so you can come home to a beautifully styled porch without lifting a finger.

Every pumpkin is hand-picked from trusted local Ontario farms, and every display is styled with care to make your home the talk of the block.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking.

When do you install displays? +
We install displays from late September through the end of October — weekends, plus weekday evenings (Tuesday–Thursday) for added flexibility. Canadian Thanksgiving weekend (mid-October) is our most popular window — we recommend booking early to secure your preferred date.
How does the deposit work? +
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is collected on the day of installation. Your deposit is 50% refundable up to 15 days before your scheduled setup date — after that point deposits are non-refundable.
Where do you source your pumpkins? +
All our pumpkins are sourced locally right here in Ontario. We work directly with trusted local farms to ensure every display features the freshest, highest quality pumpkins and gourds available.
What is the pickup service and how does it work? +
Our pickup service is when we return to your home to collect all the pumpkins and decor at the close of the season, after October 31st. No mess, no rotting pumpkins to deal with — we handle everything. The add-on is $75 for all packages except The Showstopper, where pickup is included free.
How long does installation take? +
Installation time is package dependent and can range from 15 minutes to 1 hour. You don't need to be home — just let us know if there's a gate code or special access instructions when you book.
Can I customize my display? +
At this time we are not able to offer customized displays. Each package is curated by our team to ensure a beautiful, cohesive look for your porch.
Which areas do you serve? +
We are currently servicing Oakville, Burlington, and Mississauga only. Stay tuned as we plan to expand our service area in future seasons.
What if it rains on my install date? +
Installations will occur rain or shine — a little weather never stops us! Pumpkins are tough and so are we. Rest assured your display will be installed on your scheduled date no matter the conditions.
